The world is undergoing a business revolution again. Computers, Information Technology and the Internet have combined to bring forth a state of business where people, societies, countries and economies are changing. The new economy, or the Knowledge Economy, where people make knowledge based buying decisions, where companies produce products and services based on informed buying needs and where "knowledge" is a key component of a business transaction. This phenomenon or revolution is global. It is touching citizens and corporations across the World. How do organizations, new and old, exist in this new business climate? The key lies in changing the perception of such organizations from traditional management models to a new approach and which is the Learning Organization Approach. The paper being submitted discusses this new Management concept and its efficacy and practice in the modern day knowledge economy.
