Mobile e-learning is gaining some importance due to its potential in training and support. The tablet PC's are currently being used for effective class room teaching.Several case studies have been discussed in the current literature.The basic objective of the research reported in this paper is to examine the technical feasibility of making use of cell phones to access any course material from a remote server.The project focuses on content development tools to exploit the audio and video capabilities of cell phones and provide some facilities for students to have well control over reading and listening to the content thru voice-synthesised XML technologies.The paper also discusses issues and challenges in M-Learning research.
