Stepping into another person’s shoes: Using Learning by Design to understand racism and prejudice.
In this session I will explore how the Learning by Design framework is a powerful tool in teaching English in a high school context. Through studying a range of multimodal texts learners have been transformed in their understanding of social issues such as racism and prejudice.
