As co-researchers, they discovered more about how kids learn and engage with ICT to improve learning.
A brief outline is provided of Iramoo Primary School’s intention to broaden the role of ICT beyond the specialist domain into classrooms and other specialist curriculum programs.

Two teachers share their extraordinary journey in developing Rock Videos with Year 5 students and colleagues. Greg and Peter discovered insights into their teaching practice that led to more effective ways of educating young people and increasing the quality of work produced.

The Pedagogies for Elearning Research Project has been the catalyst for the redesign of the ICT specialist program. The teachers describe exciting new curriculum developments exposing students to visual multiliteracies used to influence the behaviour or opinions of the intended audience.

The Learning by Design framework provided the language and tools to understand why and how learning occurs. Designing learning using the framework led to deeper, more comprehensive and interesting learning for students and teachers across the eight knowledge processes.

A few insights into effective pedagogies for Elearning are also shared.
